Vermont Lanterns has a rotating selection of oil lamps that have minor cosmetic imperfections, or factory 2nds we cannot sell for full price. The oil lamps finish could be inconsistent, the lamp could have been returned, or it may have been a show room model. In all cases, the lanterns are functional and working models. For instance, often with some of the antique models, the finish is inconsistent, but if you are going to use them outside, in time, you will not notice it at all.
